Dewas / Indore: The Dewas unit of the Muslim Students Organization of India (MSO), the country’s largest Muslim student organization has filed a complaint against Sudarshan channel and his editor in chief Suresh Chavanke for releasing a trailer of controversial program for the recruitment of Muslims in civil services examination. This complaint has been lodged before the collector Dewas.
In the complaint, the media in-charge of the unit, Maroof Muhammad Sheikh, said that on August 28 at 8 pm on Sudarshan News, the program ‘Infiltration of Muslims in bureaucracy’ has been created with the intention of disturbing social harmony. In this program a special community is targeted.
It is clear in the video of the trailer that Suresh Chavanke has not only tried to make the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) controversial but also tried to humiliate a community. So that tension in the society has arisen. He told that this video has been released by Suresh Chavanke from his official Twitter account.
Maroof Sheikh demanded that the administration immediately ban the telecast of the program, saying that the strict legal action should be taken against Sudarshan News and Editor Suresh Chavanke for tarnishing the image of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and Muslims and giving communal color to the selection process of the civil services.
He said that the civil service officers serve the country without keeping religion in mind but Suresh Chavanke is trying to paint constitutional institutions in communal color under the guise of freedom of expression. He said that the Minorities Commission and Supreme Court should take immediate cognizance in this matter.
