New Delhi:Muslim Students organization of India(MSO) organized a Twitter Space on “The Scholarship opportunities in higher education”. Er. Muhammad Husen Maner, MSO National Secretary initiated the space by letting us the basic checks in order to get your scholarship screened in. candidate needs to make sure that he/she needs to have a clear photograph and proper documentation.
Speaker mentioned that scholarship approval mainly depend on the family annual income and marks scored in the last examination. He covered scholarships at the national/central level and state level. He also mentioned few scholarships meant for student pursuing professional courses in foreign countries.
Moreover ,he mentioned scholarship/scheme types as well:
a.)Fully / partially tuition fee waiver.(Merit-cum-means)
b.)fixed amount /academic year.(post metric)
c.)schemes which provide education loan as low as 3% interest rates.
d.) scholarships specifically meant for girl/women candidates.
Mr.Husen Maner also gave his contact details to listeners in case they need further help in any specific scholarship.It has been decided in the guftgoo that MSO will be planning to have a telegram group where current information about the upcoming scholarships get posted.
