New Delhi, India – A delegation of the Muslim Students Organization of India (MSO) met with the Syrian Ambassador to India and donated 150,000 INR for earthquake relief efforts in Syria. The meeting was held at the Syrian embassy in New Delhi, where the MSO delegation handed over the funds to the Ambassador.
The Syrian Ambassador to India has expressed his appreciation for the MSO’s donation. In his remarks, the Ambassador thanked MSO for their generous contribution and highlighted the importance of international solidarity during times of crisis. “The earthquake in Syria has caused significant damage and left many families in need of assistance,” said the Ambassador. “We are grateful to MSO for their support and for standing with the people of Syria during this difficult time.”
The earthquake, which struck several regions in Syria on February 11, has caused extensive damage and left many people homeless and in urgent need of assistance. MSO’s donation is intended to provide much-needed support to the affected communities.
“We stand in solidarity with the people of Syria during this difficult time,” Md Modassir Ashrafi said. “As an organization committed to promoting social justice and peace, we feel it is our responsibility to support those in need, and we hope that our donation will help to alleviate some of the suffering caused by the earthquake.”
